Who tells the DVLA that my car has been scrapped?
This is not something you need to worry about as if you have supplied the correct logbook for the vehicle we will notify the DVLA that your car has been taken for scrap.
How long does the process take?
The process usually takes up to 48 hours as long as the information you provide is correct and accurate.
Can I claim back unused road tax?
Yes, you will need to get a v14 form from the post office or take a look at the DVLA website.
Your car is disposed of in the most environmental way?
Your vehicle will be disposed of in a 100 per cent eco friendly way by being depolluted and all recycleable parts will be removed and the remaining shell will then be crushed.

Shall I notify the DVLA that I no longer own the car?
No, we notify the DVLA that you have scrapped your vehicle (as long as the logbook is supplied with the car).
Are you open on the weekend to scrap my car?
As most people work weekdays and are not around due to work commitments we work 7 days a week. (We don’t have a weekend in this industry!)

How will I receive the payment?
Cash will be paid upon collection of your vehicle.
What happens if the information I supply is incorrect?
If the information you supply is incorrect this will affect the price that we have initially quoted therefor it is important that you ensure that the information you supply is as accurate as possible.
How much will I get for my vehicle?
This is based on the age, condition, make and model of your vehicle. We will make you a cash offer over the phone or by email for your car, van or 4×4.
What type of vehicle do you collect ?

What is a Log Book / V5C Document?
V5C also know as a log book has the vehicles details and the registered keepers details which is issued to you by DVLA after you have bought a vehicle.
